This Privacy Policy describes how TREGO (a product of TREGO Technologies (Pty) Ltd) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile and web applications and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

- Account Information: name, email address, phone number (optional), password or authentication tokens, and subscription details.
- Business Information: company or trading name, registration number (if provided), tax/VAT number, business address, logo, and any other details you choose to store to generate invoices, quotes, and receipts.
- Customer Records You Capture: your customer names, contact details, addresses, and any invoice/quote line items and references you add. You decide what to capture; we store it on your behalf so you can use it within the app.
- Payment & Billing Information: billing address and transaction details related to your subscription. (Card processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.)
- Usage & Device Information: app interactions, device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate location (derived from IP), and diagnostic logs. This helps us secure and improve the Services.
- Support Communications: any messages or attachments you send to our support channels.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
- Create invoices, quotes, receipts, and related documents you request.
- Sync and store your business and customer records for your use.
- Process your subscription and send billing communications.
- Send important service, security, or policy updates.
- Respond to support requests and improve customer experience.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve performance and features.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

11. Controller vs. Processor
For your personal account data and our app operations, TREGO Technologies (Pty) Ltd acts as adata controller.
For the business and customer information you choose to store in TREGO (e.g., your customers' contact details and invoice contents), we act as a data processoron your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and process such information in your jurisdiction and for honoring requests from your customers. We will assist you with reasonable data subject requests where applicable.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date and, where required, notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective signifies your acceptance of the revised policy.
